Breastfeeding

Just as birthing has been portrayed in our culture as difficult and painful, so too has breastfeeding. The fact is the majority of mothers and babies can breastfeed with few difficulties. Just as our bodies were designed for birthing, so too, our bodies and babies are designed for breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding supports a healthy strong immune system, but it is so much more than the physical act of feeding. It forms the foundations of bonding, eye gaze, and the developmental movements which a baby performs in the process of feeding, are switching on millions of neurons in their brain.

In module 5 of our HypnoBirthing education course you learn all about baby’s first hour, breastfeeding techniques and what to expect in the fourth trimester.
